Joseph Hegstrom

  Joe was the first honest-to-goodness people person that I am aware of meeting. He was extremely nice, and thoughtful. The day we met, it was about half-way through Freshman year as I remember: He asked my name, and repeated it a few times and made sure to say "Hi" to me the next time we met, using my name. I am not sure of his motivation of course, but I can only assume that he was just personable.
